Position Details:
Hourly Salary: $30-32.00/hr
Position Summary:
Positions in this sub-family are responsible for the efficient purchase, storage and movement of raw materials and finished goods in the organization. Activities include forecasting anticipated materials requirements; coordinating supply; ensuring the timely flow of materials to production lines and the return of finished goods to distribution facilities; dealing with customs and shipping; and managing materials inventory.
Responsibilities:
• Supervises support roles with responsibility for performance review/management and training
• Sets day-to-day objectives, organizes workflow, provides guidance, and supports achievement of goals for team
• Leverages prior experience to solve issues using latitude of existing guidelines, also recommending changes within specialization policies/procedures
• Works closely with specialization manager
• Communicates regularly with management and infrequently with executive leadership
• Other duties as assigned
• Work Schedule & Hours/Days: Monday through Friday 40 hours 06:00 to 2:30 PM
• PPE Required: ANSI safety glasses, safety shoes, and ear plugs.
• Top 3 skills required: SAP, critical spare part management, and CMMS
• Years of experience required: At least 3 years of experience and will train in accordance with the Bridgestone standard
• Level of Education Needed: High School Diploma
