The Right at Home Southern Maryland office is looking for an Office Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day activities of the office and help organize and coordinate office administration and procedures, in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety. The candidate will be expected to answer the telephone, greet caregivers/clients/guests, assist with recruiting, and other office functions.
Preferred work availability: Mon to Fri at 9am-3pm with the possibility of being full-time (20-40hrs/wk)
Essential Functions:
- Provide superior customer service and quality home care
- Responsible for assisting in recruiting caregiver staff including overseeing orientation
- Partner with Human Resources to maintain office policies as necessary
- Follow the prescribed inside sales process including being responsive, building a strong relationship with the caller, qualifying the client, developing the care profile, gaining commitment, and following up on leads.
- Communicate features, benefits, and advantages that relate to the identified needs of each potential client.
- Assist with organizing office operations and procedures
- Responsible for assisting in staffing efforts as needed
- Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment
- Build a rapport with agencies/facilities to increase referrals
- Remain updated on technical and professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, joining professional associations, building networks with fellow professionals and reviewing of industry publications
- Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events
- Ensure filing systems are maintained and current
- Establish and monitor procedures for record keeping
- Ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of data
- Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints
- Manage internal staff relations
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment
- Remain updated on technical and professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, joining professional associations, building networks with fellow professionals and reviewing of industry publications
- Point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills, and completing errands
Additional (non-essential) Functions
1. Promotes agency to the community, participating in community programs with other professionals.
2. Represent the agency before the public as required.
3. The position may be remote but some in-office hours will be required
4. Other duties as assigned

Salary: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
