About the Job
This position will start out with part time hours to get trained and acclimated, but progress to full time.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as typing, record-keeping, database management, scanning, and organizing electronic files.
- Answer and route phone calls, assist customers, document messages, and ensure effective communication across teams.
- Greet visitors, handle general inquiries, and foster a welcoming office environment.
- Maintain inventory, manage supplies, and operate office equipment (computers, scanners, copiers).
- Compile and maintain customer and insurance policy records within the agency’s management system.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as needed.
- Coordinate customer outreach for payment reminders and document requests.
- Process, distribute, and securely store certificates of insurance.
- Set up action items and assign tasks for appropriate team members.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Minimum 1 year of office experience in an administrative support role; insurance or brokerage experience is a plus.
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred (proof of education needed with application).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management.
- Excellent communication, confidentiality, and time management skills; adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range: Hourly $29.00 to $30.00
