About us:
We are an award winning Design/Build firm specializing in fine custom homes and additions. We have expertise in renovations, gourmet kitchens, historic restorations and timber frame structures.
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team. A background in construction office management is a plus. Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize, multitask and communicate.
Responsibilities may include:
- Project coordination: oversee the planning and delivery of construction projects from an administrative standpoint. Ensure that work is completed on time and within budget.
- Assist in creating, editing, and monitoring job estimates, proposals, budgets.
- Communication with clients, coworkers, subcontractors and vendors via relevant construction management software, email, phone, and in person.
- Collaborate with our financial manager to review job financial reports within quickbooks and construction management software to help monitor target projections
- Monitor and ensure timely payments to vendors
- Create and process change orders for the client and work with financial manager to monitor proper invoicing
- Manage calendars, appointments and meetings.
- Manage office supplies
- Maintain records using Quickbooks and perform some clerical tasks
Qualifications include:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Word, Excel, Zoom, Google apps
- Tech savvy or experienced in relevant Construction Project Management Software. (i.e. Coconstruct, BuiderTread, BuiderTrend, Procore etc.)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills and resourcefulness
- Experience in accounting is a plus
- Design, or architectural experience is a plus
- CAD experience is a plus.
