Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team as an Office Manager & Bookkeeper. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Raleigh and Charlotte offices, with a strong focus on accounting and administrative responsibilities. Reporting to the CFO, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s mission and have opportunities for growth as we continue expanding across the Southeast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pay bills, track payments, and reconcile accounts.
- Prepare commission payments and manage the budget.
- Process 1099 filings and ensure compliance.
- Coordinate with IT vendor and maintain equipment.
- Manage contracts and perform quarterly system checks.
- Oversee office supplies and organization.
- Coordinate events and handle property needs for both offices.
- Sort mail, track contracts, and support Charlotte office monthly.
- Suggest efficiency improvements.
Qualifications:
- College or associate's degree required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks preferred.
- Strong accounting background required.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity and honesty.
- Eagerness to learn company systems and processes.
