Job Description:
Position will require Saturday and Sunday plus an additional night shift during the week which may or may not end up being a blocked schedule. To be discussed in interview.
MINIMUM 4 YEARS EXPERIENCE NICU PLUS PREVIOUS TRAVEL EXPERIENCE AND EPIC EMR REQUIRED. This is a 58-bed level IV NICU within a 162-bed Regional referral Children's Hospital setting. Pre-term surgical, neonates with congenital diseases, admitted with a wide range of medical and surgical diagnosis. Unit receives patients via air and ground transport, staff attend high risk deliveries. 24-hour In-House Neonatology coverage. Therapies include: ECMO, therapeutic hypothermia, inhaled nitric oxide therapy, jet ventilation, oscillator ventilation support and more. No call will be required. Holiday coverage may be needed - discuss with manager during interview. Safety Sensitive position*
NRP (AHA) and BLS (AHA) required. Neonatal/NICU medication exam must be passed on first day.
MUST PRESENT SFHS SUBMISSION PAGE WITH PROFILE which would include the traveler's permanent address.
PERMANENT ADDRESS OVER 100 MILES FROM THE FACILITY. CURRENT and Unencumbered RN license to practice in Oklahoma required upon submission of profile.
