Job Summary
Performs analysis of raw materials,work-in-process and finished oil samples. Calculates adjustments for products based on Quality Control test results. Collaborates with the blending department on recommended adjustments. Enters adjustments into SAP computer system. Records all test results on WinLIMS labels and enters results in WinLIMS computer system. Record results on retains and places in storage. Assist in ordering lab supplies. Maintains and troubleshoots lab equipment. Maintain ISO certification in Laboratory inspection and testing practices. Assist in other areas as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma & 1 year of lab experience
Job Duties
- Perform analysis of raw materials, in-process and finished oil samples.
- Maintains a log of all production samples with log-in and release times and number of adjustments for each blend.
- Maintain Certificate of Analysis on all incoming products.
- Analyze incoming batch blends and calculate adjustments based on appropiate QC test equipment results and enter recommendations into SAP.
- Approve batches based on Quality Control test and enter results in WinLIMs
- Prepare Certificate of Analysis for outgoing batch blends.
- Maintain A safe work enviroment.
- Maintain Quality records to show conformity to ISO standards and retain ISO certification,
