THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN PLEASANT GROVE.
SUMMARY
The On-Boarding Specialist is responsible for managing the new hire process from the offer letter to the candidate’s first day ensuring a positive new hire experience. This position is also responsible for tracking candidates through the new hire process, communicating to hiring managers and new candidates to ensure all steps are completed before the candidate’s start dates.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares new hire offer paperwork, initiates background investigations, and other pre-employment paperwork.
- Communicates with hiring managers on candidates
- Communicates with candidates on steps to complete before their first day
- Prepares new hire welcome packet for new hires on first day.
- Conducts first day orientation and introduces new employees to company
- Reviews with new employees on first day the system sign-ons to software
- Processes new hires in the HRIS system
- Partners with Recruiter on job postings and processing qualified candidates
- Maintains employee referral program
- Responsible for ordering, and approving business cards.
- Back up recruiter and cross training
- Other duties may be assigned.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- High level of organizational skills; excellent attention to detail; the ability to work closely and intensely with the top management as well as with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written), creativity, resourcefulness, and an internal/external customer service orientation are essential in order to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization as well as with outside clients.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general information.
- Ability to write business correspondence, memos, and other material.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
- Ability to fulfill the essential functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
- Must be a self-starter who is able to work with little direction and supervision.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, time management, and be detailed orientated.
- Must be proactive and confident with a willingness to offer input and to contribute and defend ideas.
- A high level of proficiency required in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint is required to perform the varied duties of this position.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
AA degree preferred or three to five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid California driver’s license and clean DMV report.

COMPENSATION
Wage Range $28.00 to $34.00
Wage depends on knowledge, skills and ability to perform the responsibilities of the job.
