System Administrator

**THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION WITH THE EXPECTATION TO BE IN OFFICE 40 HOURS PER WEEK**

System Administrator Essential Functions:

• Install, configure and update software, hardware and network devices
• Monitor system performance, security and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues and outages
• Ensure backup and disaster recovery procedures are in place
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights
• Document system configurations, policies and procedures
• Train and assist users on IT-related matters
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions

System Administrator

Education, Qualifications, Experience:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, computer information systems or related field or equivalent experience
• Professional certifications a plus
• Knowledge of current trends in the IT field

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of desktop and network operating systems and applications
• Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, routers and switches
• Knowledge of system security, backup and recovery best practices
• Proven experience as a system administrator, network administrator or similar role
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Expectation of Service:

• This is a non-exempt 40 hour per week position. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
