Joule, a System One division, is looking to expand its dynamic internal team of recruiting and operations professionals. With more than 6,000 employees and roughly 40 offices throughout the U.S. we provide scientific, clinical, engineering, energy, IT, legal and administrative staffing services. For more than 40 years, we have delivered workforce solutions and integrated services to clients nationally.
Responsibilities:
- Fully responsible for the onboarding of new contract employees
- Working with the new employee to complete all pre-employment documentation.
- Scheduling and working with the contract employees to complete all pre-employment screening, (background checks and drug testing for all Science and Clinical operations of Joulé.)
- Coordinating and confirming start dates with our customers and our internal team
- Contractor assignment management
- Offboarding of contract employees including contractor and customer interface
- Contractor and customer time reporting follow-up
- Miscellaneous payroll and operation’s support related activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School degree or equivalent. BA or BS degree a plus but not required.
- Proficient with office technology including the Microsoft suite of products (MSWord, Excel etc.)
- 2-5 years of administrative support experience in a corporate environment. Experience with human resources related functions such as recruitment, pre-employment screening, employment related compliance activities, and onboarding of employees is a definite plus.
- Demonstrated critical thinking ability is required along with the ability to manage projects.
- Must be available to work in our Edison, NJ office on a fulltime basis, (5) days per week.
