About the Job
Serves as a member of the Human Resources and Recruitment team by providing the execution of all transactions associated with processing new hire employees as well as internal transfers. The onboarding specialist is the primary point of contact during the induction stages of employment, ensuring that all steps and requirements are communicated to new hire employees and executed in accordance with policy. Additionally, the onboarding specialist is responsible for communicating status and updates to the recruitment staff. The specialist fields initial calls and questions regarding candidate experience, password reset and application status within the applicant tracking system.
Qualifications:Education
Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited university or college, preferably in Human Resources or Business Management. Comparable combinations of education and experience considered.
Experience
Minimum of two (2) years administrative/clerical support experience, preferably in Human Resources.
Additional Skills/Abilities
Must be able to effectively communicate with employees and recruiters regarding sensitive and often complicated issues. Must be able and willing to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Must have strong Microsoft Office skills. Excellent customer service and phone skills required.
