About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Oncology - Adult Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Unit **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** Rotating 3x12-Hour (Days: 07:00 - 19:00; Nights: 19:00 - 07:00) **Guaranteed Hours:** **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of BMT and oncology nursing experience **License:** VA or compact state license preferred; 30-day work authorization accepted with timely licensure confirmation. **Certifications:** Chemo certification required **Must-Have:** - Experience with BMT and oncology - EPIC charting experience preferred - BSN preferred - Two professional references required **Job Description:** - Work in a specialized adult BMT unit with a focus on cellular immunotherapy. - Participate in a rotating schedule of night and day shifts, with the possibility of blocking similar shifts over multiple weeks. - Engage in patient care activities requiring immunotherapy and chemotherapy expertise. - Coordinate effectively with team members to provide comprehensive patient care. - Must adhere to the natural nail policy. - Floating within nursing scope may be required as needed. - Prepare for a 16-hour orientation program to familiarize with unit systems and protocols. **Additional Information:** - Candidates will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis for background assessments. - Return staff must have a 6-month gap to be eligible as travelers. - Compliance with fingerprinting requirements for ER and Psych candidates as per Virginia code is necessary, with start dates planned accordingly.
