KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a product owner taking responsibility for an experience or feature from design through to live implementation.
- Elicit / write requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or viewpoints.
- Communicate vision and design approaches to key stakeholders through presentations, demos and documentation.
- Manage and prioritize product backlog according to the overall roadmap.
- Work with business users to define and analyze problems and align the most appropriate technology solution.
- Manage change request process to ensure that appropriate documentation is updated when change requests are adopted.
- Review and provide input on process design work prior to requirement adoption.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 12 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, or 8 years with a Master's, or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE TO INCLUDE:
- 5+ years working with business requirements and/or process documentation.
- Excellent two-way communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills, including interviewing skills for engaging with individuals and groups about their needs; ability to ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information; and presentation skills to stakeholders and others.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills; ability to work with the vast array of data gathered during elicitation and analysis and to cope with rapidly changing information.
- Excellent reporting skills for providing ongoing visibility to stakeholders on product delivery status and future delivery plans.
- Proven track record of using Agile methodologies including 5 years' experience managing large, complex projects in digital environments with multiple teams.
- Prior experience using Agile/Scrum framework within a digital/web environment.
PREFERENCES:
- Prior experience working as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager, or as Subject Matter Expert in the digital domain.
- Prior work experience in a large IT or software development organization.
- Advanced knowledge of system development methodology, project management, and system architecture.
- ITIL Foundations certification.
- Agile Certification.
