Onsite Inventory Coordinator

General Summary:
Inventories, maintains, and creates replenishment orders for assigned material bins at CAP account sites. Provides on-site support as needed. Designs and assembles material storage and handling equipment as needed for crib setup.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drives to customer sites; delivers and stocks order per account specifications. Plans route and independently schedules work flow. Keeps on-site bins clean and uncluttered.
2. Organizes and creates daily route using DQ Software.
3. Maintains assigned CAP account and inventory data related to these accounts in the CAP Database program.
4. Completes physical inventory for predetermined items at CAP site; creates a replenishment order to restock bins and maintain set inventory levels. Monitors inventory usage in order to make suggestions for changing reorder points
5. Follows guidelines for order filling, stocking, receiving and delivery as agreed upon with the customer.
6. Verifies the order writing and pulling process with Customer Account Specialists and the Warehouse.
7. Communicates through various channels (in person, written, email, fax, telephone) when placing orders with the customer and internal departments (sales, Customer Account Specialists, warehouse, returns, etc.)
8. Participates in customer meetings; investigates and responds to customer service issues.
9. Facilitates changes to existing CAP programs at customer sites
10. Assists with in the initial reorganization project:
• The physical movement of inventory
• Shelf set-up
• Data collection
• Part number cross reference research
• The labeling of bins and shelves
11. Watches for new business opportunities.
12. Maintains delivery vehicle and coordinates necessary repairs and maintenance with dispatch supervisor.
13. Frequently lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions product weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted when stocking, loading or unloading products. Typically bends stoops and/or crouches on a regular basis from various heights to stock or deliver product to a customer.
14. Assists in all other area of CAP operations as needed.
15. Respects various safety standards at all customer facilities
16. Operates forklift: proper training and certification required. May also use material handling equipment (including pallet jack, dollies, handcart and conveyor).
17. Assists in creating, implementing and revising work procedures and instructions.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
1. High School diploma required.
2. Warehouse experience including knowledge of daily warehouse operations, inventory turns, material handling equipment assembly and bin building.
3. Sales experience usually obtained through Mentoring program or Counter Sales preferred with working knowledge of Mc-Mc products and operations.
4. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products (including Word and Excel) and Trend
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
6. Ability to independently obtain objectives and be self-directed.
7. Valid chauffeur’s license and driver’s license for Region of business operation with a good driving record.

Reports to: CAP (Customer Alliance Program) Supervisor, Customer Account Supervisor or
Customer Service Manager

Working Conditions: Varied: Normal office, warehouse and/or factory environment.
