Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on the HOA buildings and grounds, ensuring that the community is in good condition.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings and grounds, including light landscaping, plumbing, electrical, sprinkler systems, painting, equipment maintenance, janitorial, carpentry work, and anything the Maintenance Manager is in need of assistance with
- Weekly duties include: Mowing, trimming, deep root watering of trees, dog station management, stocking bathrooms, hand watering flowers, weed spraying, gutter checks and cleanouts and more
- General duties include: Golf cart preventative maintenance, mower preventative maintenance, cleaning of storage buildings, cleaning of building exterior carpets, keeping light globes clean from bugs, replacing downspouts as needed, skimming the pools and cleaning the pool deck, general cleanup of landscaping, and assisting the Maintenance Manager
- Respond to maintenance requests the Maintenance Manager in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct regular inspections of the community and common areas to identify and address maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed via the work order system
- Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with guidance from Maintenance Manager
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Community Association Manager
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of landscaping, painting, equipment maintenance, janitorial, carpentry work, and repairs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Working Conditions: The Maintenance Technician will work primarily outdoors, and will be exposed to various weather conditions. The position may require working on weekends and holidays, and may involve on-call duties.
Physical Requirements: The Maintenance Technician must be able to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. The position may require standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods of time.
Pay and Benefits:
$25.00 to $30.00 , depending on education and experience.
