Surestaff is hiring for an Onsite Manager - Staffing for a customer in Hazle Township, PA, near West Hazleton
The Onsite Staffing Manager (OSM) has multiple responsibilities. Primarily, the OSM is responsible for overall account management & performance. This includes the supervision of the team assembled to service the client. The OSM will act as an extension of the client’s Human Resource department as well as the liaison to the client’s end-users of contingent labor.
The OSM must have the ability to effectively communicate to candidates, employees, and client contacts. The OSM is responsible for prioritizing requisitions, ensuring contract compliance, and monitoring key performance indicators. Other responsibilities may include client-specific reporting, onboarding/orientation and site-specific training. Key Responsibilities

- Personifies our company at the work site
- Manages site staff through proper recruitment strategies and use of best practices
- Meets headcount needs for all shifts as required by client
- Manage staff to ensure proper compliance with company and client standards
- Assists with performance evaluations of employees on assignment
- Manages unemployment compliance, payroll deadlines and proper documentation
- Works with client and site staff to improve cycle time, employee relations and turnover
- Monitors employees for proper safety compliance and facilitates the initial treatment and reporting of workers’ compensation incidents at the site
- Updates daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required
- Manages retention, recruitment, and other value-added programs
- Monitors activities/results against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Develops and delivers quarterly and annual business reviews at the client site
- Facilitates meetings with key stakeholders (internal & external)
- Other duties as assigned
- 3-6 years of relevant experience working in either a recruitment, high-touch service or similar position
- Volume recruitment delivery experience preferred
- Flexibility to support client requirements as they may run multiple shifts
- A customer and client focus with the ability to establish long-lasting business relationships
- Capability to engage and communicate effectively to all stakeholders
- Ability to handle issues that are deemed sensitive and confidential
