Operating Room Nurse Circulator at McLean Tysons Orthopedic Surgery Center

*POSITION TITLE:* Registered Nurse

*Reports to:* Director of Nursing

*POSITION SUMMARY:* The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides nursing care during the intraoperative phase, advocating for the patient and assisting the surgical team.

*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Organizes time, equipment, and staff for effective case management.
* Supervises patient care in the operating room.
* Handles supply and equipment inventories.
* Identifies patients and correct surgical interventions.
* Provides patient comfort and explains procedures.
* Documents patient care accurately.

*REQUIREMENTS:*
* Degree from an accredited nursing school.
* Current Virginia Nursing License.
* 1+ years Orthopedic Operating Room experience required.

*SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITY:*
* Knowledge of OR nursing concepts and practices.
* Excellent communication skills.
