Our team in Tacoma, WA is looking for an Operations Coordinator to help us meet and exceed our customer requirements.
Do you like making sure the job gets done to the customer’s satisfaction? As the Operation Coordinator, you are our Wallenius Wilhelmsen representative working with our customers and operations team. Your role is to monitor and communicate account activities and ensure customer needs are met.
Job Description:WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Responds to customer service inquiries concerning account activities, priorities, and status.
- Prioritizes and assigns workorders for completion to appropriate employees.
- Coordinates account activities, priorities, and status with mfg. personnel and Third Party Logistics Provider.
- Tracks inbound parts and equipment and forecasts incoming volume.
- Maintains equipment inventory, tracking, location, status, organization, and billing systems.
- Enters product receipts and picks into inventory management system; verifies accuracy of information.
- Performs reporting and analyzes results to management and customer.
- Cross-trains and performs other administrative functions to include dispatching of parts/equipment and printing BOLs.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- One year experience in customer service and inventory control procedures preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to interface with customers and employees.
- Basic math skills are required.
- Must have strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be proficient at an Intermediate Level in MS Excel and have a working knowledge of MS Windows and Word.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous accounting or Inventory control experience is a plus.

Keen Transport, part of the Wallenius Wilhelmsen group, is a global logistics company working to process new heavy equipment from the inbound shipping vessel through our processing facility to outbound trucks. Cranes, tractors and other High and Heavy machines are delivered from this facility to end-use clients all across the United States.
At Wallenius Wilhelmsen and across our businesses, salaries are determined by position, level, location, and similar factors. The pay or salary range listed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum projected rate of pay for the specific position across our United States locations. Equally as important, as a team member, individual earnings may consider knowledge, skills, abilities, work location and related factors. The current starting salary range for this position is $48,000-$50,000. Wallenius Wilhelmsen team members are also eligible for annual merit-based salary adjustments, and participation in competitive benefit programs. Some roles in the company may offer an additional annual bonus. Additional details on salary or pay ranges and benefits will be available through the interview and employment process. Salary or pay ranges are separate from bonus opportunities and/or benefit plans.
