Ready to make a difference? BAE Systems is looking for systems engineers experienced in analysis, modeling and simulation and test environments to develop, build, and work on the world s most advanced electromagnetic spectrum operations systems detecting, identifying, locating, and countering threats for joint forces and international aircrew. We develop highly sophisticated digital Electronic Warfare (EW) systems and we are looking for motivated systems engineers to join cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams developing and supporting next generation systems.
This full-time role is with the Mission-Driven Analysis and Testing team, which utilizes operational analysis to develop scenarios for injection into target hardware and feeds the hardware performance test results back into the mission analysis. Responsibilities include performing threat analysis, mission effectiveness, building a stronger linkage between the actual hardware/emulators and the effects in Operational Analysis models, and producing an end-to-end fighter engagement analysis, along with data products to communicate results to our customers. The qualified engineer will have:
+ strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills,

+ familiarity with good test design, defining the right measures/objectives while properly varying/isolating variables of interest,

Work location can be Nashua, NH or Manchester, NH. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Bachelor s Degree (or equivalent experience in a relevant field) with a minimum work experience of:
+ 8 Years with BS
+ 6 Years with MS
+ 4 Year with PHD
+ Possess an Active Secret Clearance
+ Prior direct experience with mission-level effects and analysis. Examples: DT/OT&E, mission planning, and/or military intelligence
+ Strong understanding of mission-level concepts involved in planning and analyzing military air operations (primarily strike and counter-air)
+ Understanding of aircraft survivability analysis and threat avoidance, including common metrics and visualizations relied upon to communicate results
+ Critical thinker with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly interpret/adapt new tools and configurations
+ Ability to demonstrate RF concepts including antenna patterns, environmental effects, radar range, frequency, jamming, countermeasures, etc.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Experience with mission-level simulation tools such as AFSIM, DIADS and/or NGTS
+ Proficient with Matlab
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
