Scope
Our client is in need of Operations Analyst/Manager to join their talented engineering team. This group is responsible for ensuring the timely development, testing, and release of a Home Security & Automation subscriber portal and mobile client applications with a high degree of quality that exceeds customer expectations.
In this role you will collaborate with other developers, designers, testers, product teams, and business and operations managers to prepare, maintain and support the Operational Readiness for all client applications related to the Home Security products.
This is a very data-centric role within an Operations environment. You will work with engineering teams to document technical requirements for performance engineering improvements as well as look at systems operational performance and shortcomings by analyzing data concerning outages and things of that nature. After you have analyzed the data you will create reports and dashboards which will be accessible to management and team members.

Required Skills/Experience
- 3 - 5 years of systems/software engineering or Operations/production support experience in a software development or engineering environment; a technically competent Project Manager or Team Lead who is experienced with and comfortable analyzing and reporting on data would be considered
- Heavy experience in data analysis, reporting and dashboard generation
- Experience with data analytics tools
- Ability to engage cross-functional product and development team and lead discussions and contribute to production investigations and triage sessions
- Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation
- Experience supporting multiple technical projects simultaneously
- The ideal candidate will have experience in both technical and programmatic roles along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Any of the Following is a Plus
- Experience in scripting and/or software development
- Experience in Tableau, Splunk or Hadoop
- Experience in creating and maintaining system architecture diagrams (Rationale, OmniGraffle, System Architect, etc.)
- Experience working with web and/or mobile software development, QA and operations teams
- Experience with Agile/Scrum
- Experience with Agile project tracking software (Rally, Jira, etc.)
- Experience and familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- DevOps experience
- Software development experience is a plus!
- Home Security and automation experience is a plus!
