JOB SUMMARY: The Operations Assistant is part of an Operations Team that strives to provide the highest level of customer service. Our clients rely upon us for accurate, timely and thorough service. The Operations Assistant is the client's first point of contact with our company and must understand the details of the client's work request so our Operations Team can perform each job with excellence. The Operations Assistant will be tasked with various duties to help meet the high level of customer service we deliver to our clients. The Operations Assistant will be cross-trained to fill in as assigned by the Operations Manager when operational gaps arise. The Operations Assistant will work in the office but will learn and understand field operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other assignments, projects and duties may be required:
• Writing estimates
• Scheduling field work
• Professionally composing and responding to emails and answering phones
• Data Entry, Data Retrieval and Use of Data
• Phone support to customers and field technicians
• Ordering parts
• Inventory control
SKILLS NEEDED:
• Extremely detail oriented
• Good Communication skills
• Positive Attitude
• Enjoys working and staying busy all day
• Customer service-enjoys helping people and talking with customers
• Quick learner
• Legible handwriting
• Multitasking and Flexibility. Ability to shift gears easily and resume tasks after interruption.
• Analytical-enjoys examining things in detail to discover more about them
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and able to learn other software as required
• Type quickly without looking at the keyboard
• Good memory
• Diligent
• Patient
• Motivated
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma
• College degree desired but not required
• 2-3 years or more working in customer service
