About this Position
Working closely with the Assistant Principal, the Operations Associate will have ownership of systems for student information and state reporting. The Operations Associate will possess a high-level of initiative and the ability to work on complex tasks independently. Additionally, the role will require a professional who is capable of balancing multiple projects and deadlines while also providing an appropriate level of responsiveness to unforeseen needs as they may emerge. We are looking for an individual with the vision, talent, and passion required to be part of something game-changing for underserved children and Catholic education at-large.
The Operations Associate must possess a commitment to partner with families, a dedication to serve all students, and a desire to seek and implement feedback and grow professionally. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to maintain composure under stress and thrives in a role requiring agility. In the course of a few minutes the Operations Associate may assist a parent with enrollment paperwork, greet a potential donor touring the school, and then quickly pivot to problem-solving with a kindergartener who left their coat on the bus.
The primary responsibilities of the Operations Associate include:
- Providing excellent customer service and professionalism as the school’s first point of contact for parents and the public;
- Creating, maintaining, and updating information in the student information system (SIS), including daily/monthly attendance reconciliation; and
- Performing clerical and administrative duties with a high-level of precision and attention to detail, including the creation of newsletters, reports, and other relevant documents
Main Responsibilities
- Answer inquiries (in-person, via phone, or email) and give accurate and helpful information to all individuals. Forward messages and requests to appropriate parties in a timely and professional manner.
- Proficiently operate standard office equipment including copiers, scanners, laminators, and phone systems and provide basic support in the event of equipment malfunction.
- Help create and distribute newsletters, marketing material, and other information to relevant stakeholders.
- Support all enrollment processes including all requirements of Ohio’s EdChoice Scholarship Program.
- Support school-wide systems for academics, culture, and character development.
- Maintain scheduling and event calendars.
- Collect payment and issue receipts for items such as uniforms, school fees, and other miscellaneous costs.
- Compile, organize, and maintain digital and paper-based student records.
- Commit to supporting an extended school year.
- Model the school virtues of faith, courage, justice, wisdom, and self-control in your interactions with all members of the school community and outside stakeholders.
- Other administrative and front-office duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or Principal.

The ideal candidate will bring experience, skills, and beliefs in the following areas:
- Spanish fluency is required
- An associate’s degree or credit hours equivalent to an associate’s degree in a relevant administrative or operations-related area is preferred;
- A passion for being part of a team-oriented, mission-driven school culture.
- An interest in the holistic development of children
- The ability to be flexible in a fast-paced school environment that is responsive to students’ needs.
- SafeParish must be current prior to students entering the building.
