What You'll Be Doing:The Operations Transition Coordinator is responsible for assisting multiple transitions of Financial Advisors from their current firms to Stifel and Stifel Independent Advisors. The Operations Transition Coordinator will be responsible for supporting onboarding processes and tasks as assigned by the Manager to maximize the profitability of the Firm's investment in a newly recruited advisor/team. Proactively working with branches, monitoring accounts and work queues as well as proving training and support thru the departments Transition hotline and Inbox.
What We're Looking For:- Function as a project coordinator for multiple transitions by setting up and running training calls for any and all appropriate functions for each transitioning advisor/team.
- Serves as a knowledgeable point of contact pre- and post-transition for the advisor/team to handle any issues with their onboarding.
- Coordinate with the Regional Managers, PCG Admins, marketing, products, Operations leadership, licensing, and many other Stifel teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Ability to travel to locations when necessary.
- Demonstrate the highest quality of customer service through written and verbal communication.
- Ability to plan and organize to ensure work gets completed on time and items that need escalated are communicated to management.
- Strong knowledge on Stifel's Protocol and Non-Protocol transition processes along with ability to convert, lead and complete 1st and 2nd mailings.
- Strong knowledge on the applications branch staff utilizes and ability to train as well as complete tasks on those applications.
- Ability to collaborate with Manager/Director to perform high level duties/task with the department.
- Strong Knowledge of the financial markets and reporting of financial data as well as experience with terminology from competing firms' products and services.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at one time.
- Demonstrate integrity to perform job functions within the boundaries of the regulatory environment.
- Minimum Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum Required: 3+ years transition/recruiting experience or 5+ years of brokerage related experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, including Visual Basic.
- Knowledge of Thomson One & BETA, eQuest and Stifel’s internal programs for Stifel’s branch offices. #L1-AS1
