Your day to day as aN Operations Business Support Specialist
As an Operations Business Support Specialist at SkyOne Federal Credit Union, you will be at the forefront of managing diverse business and special accounts while providing vital support to our frontline staff and valued members. This role encompasses monitoring and processing new business accounts for various entities, including Sole Proprietors, Corporations, and Non-Profits, ensuring all documentation meets our high standards. You will service business accounts by overseeing online banking, payments, and Treasury Management Services, while also enhancing operational efficiencies to maximize value for the organization. Your expertise will extend to handling requests from members and internal teams, assisting with account updates, fraud claims, and specialized accounts like Representative Payees and Estates. Utilizing your critical thinking skills, you'll navigate complex cases and contribute to the unclaimed property process, establishing yourself as a subject matter expert in fiduciary accounts like IRAs and trusts.

Are you the Operations Business Support Specialist we're looking for?
To excel as an Operations Business Support Specialist at SkyOne Federal Credit Union, you must possess a diverse skill set tailored to the demands of a fast-paced financial environment. Proficiency in software tools for account management and member communications is essential, including MS Word, Excel, and various online banking platforms. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks will enable you to manage business account requests efficiently. Additionally, you should demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with members and internal teams. Attention to detail is crucial when reviewing documentation for various account types, ensuring compliance with regulations like NACHA and BSA.
Critical thinking and sound judgment in decision-making will help you navigate complex inquiries and escalations. Finally, being a self-starter with a commitment to continuous improvement will allow you to contribute positively to the operational success and member experience at SkyOne.
Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years financial institution experience.
- Minimum two (2) years in a financial institution working with business accounts and operations
- Demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making.
- Ability to communicate effectively with members and fellow employees, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent follow-through skills.
- Must be organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize assignments and ability to work independently
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Windows, spreadsheet preparation, Teams, and hands-on Internet experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Working ability to use various systems simultaneously
