Job Duties:
- Answer phones, provide information to callers, take messages, and route calls as needed
- Greet visitors and handle inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain and update filing systems, inventory, mailing lists, and databases
- Compile, sort, and file records of office activities and business transactions
- Review and respond to requests for information by examining files and documents
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including preparation and sorting
- Perform data entry, proofreading, and formatting of documents
- Manage inventory and order office supplies, safety items, and materials for farm operations
- Handle basic bookkeeping, including processing and preparing financial documents
- Reconcile accounts, review transactions, and maintain accurate financial records
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies and regulations
- Conduct monthly safety inspections and organize annual inspections for fire extinguishers and company vehicles
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as required
- Maintain organized customer files, office procedures, and manage daily mail distribution
- Manage billing for farm management clients and stay updated on compliance requirements
- Assist with audits, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely collection of receivables
- Order and manage bins for harvest, communicate with shelling customers, and ensure accuracy of customer information
- Handle shipment of sheller products, including paperwork and truck weight documents
- Review and maintain shelling records, update stockpile maps, and post truck receipts
- High School Diploma required; Associated Degree preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in agricultural or farm operations environment
- 1-3 years of experience with chemical billing and hull contract accounting
Mon - Fri (7:30am-4:30pm)
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $23.00 - $28.00
