Responsibilities
- Oversee ordering material using SAP.
- SAP Knowledge and background
- Report to the Indirect Materials Manager
- Inventory and Asset Management
- Strategic Purchasing – working with Vendors to get the best pricing.
- Work with the Indirect Material Leader and manager to improve pricing and delivery.
- Work with the Warranty and Repair Administrator for warranty and repair opportunities.
- Following up on Purchase Requisitions and Purchasing Orders.
- Work with the Indirect Material Leader and Manager to get in emergency orders.
- Maintaining order accuracy and first in first out (FIFO) accuracy.
- Work with vendors and client for order issues.
- Coordinate Uniform requests for the plant.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of Management, Client, Maintenance and Vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Logistics preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in Logistics and material management.
- Hilo experience
- SAP experience
- Ability to multitask and work without direct supervision.
- Proficient in MS Office, and possess strong written, verbal and people skills.
- Strong organizational skills and collaborative style needed.
- Superior customer service skills and orientation.
- Critical thinking problem solving skills.

On-site –Lake Orion, MI
