Overview:

Participate in the Convention Center's physical cleaning, sweeping, scrubbing and mopping; set-up and tear-down of equipment and furniture.

 

This role will pay a hourly of $15 to $17.

This position will remain open until Dec 31, 2024.

 

Responsibilities:

• Performs custodial tasks including: sweeping, mopping, cleaning and scrubbing as well as exterior cleaning of terrace, steps, parking garage, sidewalks and plaza as assigned 
• Prepares facilities for shows including setting chairs, stages, tables and counters as assigned   
• Cleans interior and exterior glass;  
• Uses equipment as required upon completion of training 
• Cleans and prepares floors, carpets, restrooms and other areas as necessary 
• Cleans and polishes furniture
• Disposes of all waste, including bulk trash removal from hall and participates in recycling program as require
  
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience in a service related field preferred
• Flexibility to work required hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Physical ability to perform the duties required of this position including operation of cleaning equipment; lift, set and move equipment including all tables, chairs, easels, risers, staging and related items.
• Ability to operate two-way radio equipment
