Location: 25 miles North of Charleston
Salary: $170-$200k

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all manufacturing operations to ensure high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency are maintained across the company.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and enhance operational performance.
- Work directly with executives to align manufacturing objectives with overall business goals and strategies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring Lean manufacturing principles are adopted and sustained across all facilities.
- Oversee manufacturing engineering, ensuring all equipment, tooling, and processes are optimized for maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Drive operational excellence initiatives to streamline processes, improve output, and reduce costs across the production facilities.
- Establish and manage KPIs to monitor production performance, quality, and efficiency, using data to drive improvements.
- Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, and R&D teams to support new product development and ensure smooth production scaling.
- Implement robust safety programs and ensure all operations are compliant with regulatory standards, promoting a safe work environment.
- Lead and mentor a team of plant managers, production supervisors, and manufacturing engineers to meet production targets and deliver results.
- Develop capital investment plans for production equipment upgrades, facility expansions, and technological advancements.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting for the manufacturing division, ensuring cost control measures are effectively implemented.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership, preferably in the aerospace, defense, or military manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and driving operational excellence.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Experience in managing large-scale production operations and driving strategic change in manufacturing processes.
- Deep knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational efficiency methodologies.
