Responsible for the development and maintenance of Operations reporting and data solutions that support the decision-making process of the business and management team. Works with a variety of stakeholders to identify key areas of business development. Enables analysts with technical solutions to increase operational efficiency and accuracy.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead technical projects and ensure their complete and accurate execution with an emphasis on delivering business value
• Offer insight and support to Operations and Executive teams around business strategy decisions
• Create infrastructure and reporting that meet long-term data needs
• Maintain existing Operations solutions while looking for opportunities for improvement
• Ideate new Operations solutions from both business and market research
• Design and create scalable automated solutions to service reporting needs
• Prepare quantitative analyses using Microsoft Excel and SQL to develop meaningful insights on business data and performance of key business areas
• Create and maintain PowerBI/Amazon Quicksight dashboards for reporting needs
• Document solutions to issues and communicate across teams
• Collaborate with other team members to consolidate the data landscape to reduce the development time and increase efficiency among Operations solutions

Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to design and troubleshoot stored procedures and other SQL code
• Apply advanced query tuning techniques by leveraging execution plans
• Ability to translate business-reporting requirements into technical solutions while maintaining a high level of accuracy and data integrity
• Strong analytical critical and detail-oriented aptitude
• Functional analytical skills (projecting costing budgeting etc.)
• High level of self-motivation; ability to accomplish goals independently
• Articulate and well-spoken; strong interpersonal communication written and presentation skills
• Ability to learn and apply new knowledge to business problems quickly
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel 

Education and Experience: 

• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience required
• Strong proficiency in SQL – Minimum 4 Years
• Python/R programming experience encouraged

Physical Requirements:

• Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
