Description NASC Engineering is searching for an innovative and solutions-oriented Operations Engineers to monitor all engineering initiatives in developing and delivering next generation, world-class sortation and transportation systems. In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external teams to develop, monitor and innovate cost-effective solutions for our sortation and distribution systems. Your projects will be a variety of template-based and designed-from-scratch along with ownership of Process Designs end to end complimenting each Design. You will work with a team of highly skilled and highly engaged engineers in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment. Our team works on hundreds of projects each year. Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities - Coordinate efforts to develop optimal solutions and processes for the sortation and transportation network through process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations. - Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time. - Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors. - Effective communication skills, ability to execute the vision, detailed roadmap, and specific technical solutions. - Travel Requirements : 50% Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience - Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level - Experience working with and managing third party vendors - Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $68,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $126,400/year in our highest geographic market.
