Cornell Pump Company is seeking an experienced, dynamic Operations Manager to join our team. While this position is based at our Clackamas, Oregon location, it will also have oversight of our Vancouver manufacturing facility.
The annual salary pay range is $120,000 - $135,000 (DOE).

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The individual will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies to align with company objectives, emphasizing efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality improvement. They will lead and inspire a diverse team to foster collaboration and high performance, while also optimizing processes, managing the supply chain, maintaining quality standards, and efficiently allocating resources to achieve operational targets within budgetary constraints.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality improvement.
- Lead and inspire a diverse team of operations professionals, including production managers, supply chain specialists, and other key stakeholders. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and ensure the highest quality standards. Implement Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Oversee Planning and Procurement, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and products. Build strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.
- Establish and maintain rigorous quality control measures to uphold product quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve any quality issues.
- Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and technology, to meet production targets efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Develop and manage the Operations budget, ensuring financial objectives are met while maintaining operational excellence.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field

- Proven track record of spearheading Lean manufacturing initiatives and fostering continuous improvement
- Demonstrated leadership expertise in cultivating high-performance teams through effective team management
- 10+ years' experience in successful operations management in a manufacturing setting
- Extensive hands-on Lean expertise in implementing Lean methodologies

- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality control
