Commercial Construction Operations Manager
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Construction Operations Manager to oversee and manage their construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, excellent leadership abilities, and a keen understanding of project management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor project teams, including project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, forecasting, and financial reporting. Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures.
- Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety policies. Promote a culture of safety on all job sites.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Act as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and updates.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to ensure construction work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial construction management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
