While working to achieve N3B LLCC objectives, ensures all activities and operations are performed in a safe and deliberate manner; maintains required safety, security and operational training; assures procedural and regulatory compliance; and makes safety, security and quality an integral part of every task, including taking the necessary steps to stop work if continuing the job is unsafe or compromises security.
EssentialDuties/Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to):
- Responsible for all or a major portion of processing operations in a plant.
- Responsible for production operations, maintenance, plant engineering, safety, quality control, scheduling, accounting, and personnel.
- Promotes good relations with community, government agencies, customers, and union representatives.
- May conduct or participate in labor negotiations and administer wage, salary, and bonus programs in accordance with corporate policies.
- Expert knowledge and ability to develop and apply highly advanced principles, concepts and techniques of program management in specified areas of engineering, science or related disciplines.
- Skill and ability to perform critical strategic tasks and to interpret broad strategic requirements and develop and execute plans to satisfy them.
- Ability to have major impact on organizational success and productivity, with extensive latitude for independent judgment.
- Ability to communicate effectively at the highest levels.
- Ability to oversee operational activities for programs and projects in the organization.
- Viewed as an expert within a specialty and as highly competent within the broad discipline, both internally and externally.
- Level of language skills, mathematical skills, communication skills, reasoning ability and computer skills necessary to perform essential functions of the job.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelors' degree in appropriate discipline; however, a combination of education and relevant experience wherein the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the position’s duties and responsibilities have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable.
The career level of the position will be determined by the years of relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; after a candidate has been chosen.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements (Light Work):
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
Light Work Category - Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for sedentary work.
