Job Summary:
- We're seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing facility in Lebanon, IN. You'll oversee all operational aspects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production of frozen value-added products. This role demands a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a passion for operational excellence.
Job Duties:
- Lead and develop a team of Production Supervisors to optimize shift operations.
- Implement strategies to maximize labor, material, and equipment utilization.
- Ensure adherence to strict quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Identify training needs and develop programs to upskill the workforce.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, HR, Sanitation, and Quality teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Coordinate with materials coordination to ensure timely and accurate supply chain operations.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement corrective actions to address performance gaps and maintain operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in operations management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated experience in problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality assurance regulations.
- Proficiency in manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodologies.
