Operations Manager - Metals Recycling - Base Salary to 140k/year - Youngstown, OH

• Our client, one of the largest Ferrous & Non Ferrous Recyclers Globally, is seeking an Operations Manager to manage the day to day operations for their Railcar Facility in Youngstown, OH.
• In this role, the Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the equipment is up and running, employees are productive and they yard is operating efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledgeable in Operating all Scrap Yard Equipment - Such as forklifts, skid-steers, excavators, loaders, torches & drop balls
• Oversee inbound & outbound materials
• Track inventory
• Manage budget for the yard
• Hire, Lead & Develop Yard Personnel
• Conduct Performance Reviews, Manage Scheduling
• Enforce Safety-First Culture & Lead Safety Meetings

Qualifications:

• 5+ Years of Management or Leadership Experience
• Strong Mechanical Background- Ability to troubleshoot equipment as necessary
• Heavy Industrial Background-- Metals, Recycling, Aggregates, Mill Services, or Mining, required
• Previous Experience as a Manager or Leader

Compensation:

•  Compensation this role is comprised of a base salary up to 140k/year, plus an annual bonus.. Our client also offers individualized health benefits and 401k with a company match.
