Operations Manager

As an Operations Manager, you will have the authority and responsibility to lead our operational activities, aiming to improve our processes and ensure excellent service across all areas of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage production operations to achieve key goals such as earned hours, scrap reduction, inventory turns, and productivity improvements.
- Supervise production supervisors across various departments including Machining, Welding, Assembly, and Post Processing.
- Coordinate weekly with Production Control and Operations to prioritize shop schedules and meet shipping deadlines.
- Develop and refine processes to optimize manufacturing output and ensure the highest quality standards.
- Act as the primary liaison between operations and quality control, maintaining high standards while optimizing throughput.
- Support the Inspection lab to ensure customer quality standards are met cost-effectively.
- Manage the R&D department and workflow, coordinating with other departments to meet quality and delivery expectations.
- Provide technical assistance to Manufacturing Planners and collaborate to resolve inspection and production issues.
- Contribute to designing and developing special fixtures for various processes to promote standard work and quick-change concepts.
- Support strategic initiatives for factory automation integration.
- Ensure compliance with all quality system requirements, such as AS-9100, and maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to 6S standards.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in a technical or business field.
- Minimum of 10 years of management experience.
- Effective leadership in a matrix organizational structure, promoting teamwork and a productive work environment.
- Positive, innovative, and efficient departmental leadership.
