Introduction
Classic Granite & Marble has been in business since 2007 and is currently located in a 98,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art fabrication and production facility with an award-winning showroom located conveniently off Route 60 in Powhatan, VA. We carry an inventory of over 9,000 slabs including 300 different colors in our indoor facility. We handle all projects from beginning to end, which includes laser templating, CAD, fabrication, and installation.
Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, positive individuals with amazing people skills and attention to detail! Our clients include both residential homeowners and building contractors, and candidates need to not only be able to interface between our clients, but also between the various departments and employees.
Position Description
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of stone fabrication and warehouse operations. This includes managing production schedules, quality control, inventory management, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The role involves leadership, process optimization, and cross-department collaboration to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.

Job requirements include:
- Fabrication Management:
o Oversee daily production, ensuring on-time and quality output.
o Maintain quality control standards and ensure safety compliance.
o Lead and train the fabrication team, focusing on skill development and safety.
o Optimize fabrication processes and resolve production issues.
- Warehouse Management:
o Manage inventory of materials and finished goods, ensuring accuracy and availability.
o Oversee receiving and storage processes.
o Maintain organized and safe warehouse operations.
- Cross-Department Collaboration:
o Work with Sales and Installation teams to meet customer and production deadlines.
o Use CGM's ERP system for tracking inventory and production workflows.
Requirements:
- Experience in fabrication and warehouse operations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
- Experience in stone fabrication and warehouse operations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems
- Forklift certification preferred but not required.
- Spanish preferred but not required.
