Key Responsibilities:
Production Management:
- Oversee the entire production process, ensuring efficient manufacturing operations.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands.
- Monitor production output and adjust schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Ensure that the plant is operating within the set budget.
- Maintain high standards of quality for all products manufactured.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Address and resolve any quality issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensure the plant operates in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.
- Develop and implement safety programs and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and take corrective actions as needed.
- Lead and manage a team of supervisors, technicians, and production workers.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to enhance their performance and job satisfaction.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
- Develop lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Develop to monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and take action to improve plant performance.
- Manage the plant’s budget, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.
- Ensure effective utilization of resources, including machinery and manpower.
- Oversee maintenance and repair of plant equipment to minimize downtime.
- Work with senior management to develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the plant.
- Align plant operations with company goals and objectives.
- Participate in corporate planning and decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
- Background in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Process Control, Warehouse Operations or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in the window, door or woodworking industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proven track record of successfully managing production schedules and improving operational efficiency.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
