The Operations Program Manager will be responsible to ensure the successful transition of Product Development into the Production environment.
The Mission
> Ensure the proper coordination of the operations functions (Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, etc.) throughout the product development phase providing guidance to the IPT and NPI Program manager regarding operations process.
> Manage a diverse customer base which include Aerospace, Defense, and Commercial segments. *Prior experience with at least one of these segments is required*
> Estimate operations resources and coordinate integrated program schedules, data integration, tracking of financial and quality performance, and implementation of corrective actions for Operations related areas of program responsibility.
REQUIREMENTS
>> Five or more years leading multiple projects/programs of varying complexity and scope and direct leadership of teams.
>> Knowledge and proficiency with program management processes, methodology, and architecture.
>> Working knowledge of aerospace commercial or military contracting and procurement requirements and industry practices.
>> Understanding of financial and labor cost systems and production processes.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
> BSME preferred; related education and professional experience will be considered in lieu of engineering degree
> Operational leadership or Lean Project Mgmt experience is preferred
> 5+ years of Program Mgmt experience
