The Operations Project Manager (UAS) is responsible for managing regional projects and innovation initiatives, ensuring the implementation, monitoring, and control of standards for Network Implementation and Operations (NI&O) teams. This role acts as a liaison between NI&O and district teams, fostering collaboration with cross-functional partners. The Project Manager coordinates the rollout of initiatives, driving consistency in training, usage, and processes across all regions to enhance the end-to-end customer experience.
The position includes developing project plans, reporting performance based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and identifying best practices for district teams. This role will also involve regional reporting on initiatives, implementing LEAN/PDCA processes, and supporting the overall corporate objectives of Ease, Speed, and Predictability (ESP).
Key Responsibilities
The base range for this contract position is $36-46/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of innovation initiatives across the region, collaborating with IPM Managers, Directors, and district leadership.
- Oversee the adoption of innovations and ensure alignment across functional teams with company strategic objectives.
- Standardize processes, workflows, and training across district teams to ensure consistency.
- Develop and monitor OKRs that drive KPI results on national and regional levels.
- Analyze performance trends, create reports, and present action plans to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor technology developments and assess their impact on operational processes.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts for process improvement, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across regional teams.
- 5+ years of telecommunications experience or equivalent work experience.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
- 5+ years of project management experience with measurable results.
- Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Principles, and/or PMP certification is a plus.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Excellent project planning, facilitation, and team development skills.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
- Leadership, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and collaborate across various levels of the organization.
- Analytical mindset with a proven ability to diagnose workflow problems and implement solutions.
- Curiosity, initiative, and ability to quickly learn new technologies, coupled with strategic and tactical thinking.
- Expertise in reporting and analytics.
- Experience in workflow analysis and customer needs assessments.
- Strong ethical standards and professional integrity.
