**On-site Role M-F, 8am-5pm EST**
**Base + Commission**
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor daily transportation operations to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Collaborate with drivers and other team members to optimize routes and schedules
- Track and report on transportation metrics, such as on-time delivery and cost per mile
- Resolve any issues or delays in transportation operations, ensuring minimal disruption to service
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including driver logs and vehicle maintenance
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance
- Provide quality and accurate information between customers, carriers, and internal team
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in transportation operations or a related field is a plus
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in using transportation management systems and software
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Strong knowledge of transportation logistics
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in using industry-specific software and tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings, if required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
