Job Description: Operations Specialist
Summary/Objective
The Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operational functions of Earthbar. This role ensures the smooth execution of processes and activities that contribute to the company's overall efficiency and success. The Operations Specialist works closely with the operations team, management, and various departments to manage logistics, optimize workflows, and handle administrative tasks.

- Operations Support:
- Drive daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow across departments.
- Engage in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency, service and quality.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational success.
- Ensure all locations have the proper tools and technology to support day-to-day operations.
- Serve as a contact for addressing operational challenges and troubleshooting issues that arise in stores.
- Lead cross-functional efforts to resolve operational issues related to supply chain, facilities, and guest services.
- Logistics and Supply Chain:
- Specialize in shipments, deliveries, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of ingredients, supplies, and equipment to meet operational needs.
- Implement inventory management processes that minimize waste, reduce costs, and ensure adequate supply levels.
- Monitor supply chain performance and work with vendors to resolve any disruptions that may impact operations.
- Optimize inventory control systems to improve accuracy and reduce loss.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
- Project Planning:
- Support project planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Track project milestones, budgets, and resources.
- Communicate project updates to support team
- Team Collaboration:
- Participate in strategic planning efforts and contribute operational insights to help drive the company's growth.
- Work closely with department heads to identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Facilitate communication between teams to ensure alignment of goals and priorities.
- Act as a point of contact for internal teams and external partners.
- Customer Service and Communication:
- Address customer inquiries, issues, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain excellent communication with support team to foster positive relationships.
- Develop and enforce quality control standards to ensure consistent guest experience across all locations.
- Oversee guest feedback programs, monitoring reviews and complaints to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence within the team.
6. Facilities and Equipment Management
o Oversee the maintenance and management of store facilities, ensuring they meet health, safety, and operational standards.
o Work with vendors and service providers to manage repairs, maintenance, and capital improvement projects.
o Ensure that all refrigeration / freezer equipment and IT equipment are properly maintained and functional.
o Ensure that operational technology is user-friendly and provides value to both team members and guests.
o Implement systems for reporting and addressing maintenance issues to avoid operational disruptions.
Work Environment
This position works in a store setting. The employee regularly comes into contact with water, sanitation solutions, frozen and refrigerated products, powder products, water, ice, and produce items. The employee is frequently required to wash their hands. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
Physical Demands
Face to face discussions, telephone, electronic email, constant contact with others. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally assist other employees in lifting and/or moving objects that weigh more than 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Travel
Travel Minimal travel up to 75% within the designated store.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position may have direct reports.
