The Operations Specialist assists with organization and processes of four major areas: operations management, Mergers and Acquisition transfers, developing training curriculum for client services, and implementing workflow procedures for the betterment of the service team. They will work collaboratively to provide efficiency and vision in the establishment of policies and procedures to effectively deliver comprehensive client services under the supervision of the Director & Associate Director of Operations. The specialist is responsible for managing procedures to assist in developing effective strategies designed to enhance relationships with clients and improve employee rapport.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Management:
- Oversees coordination of data implementation into Applied Epic.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to confirm coverages and commissions are accurate for newly acquired and rewritten business.
- Support the Director and Associate Director of Operations in company compliance with policies and procedures and auditing of client files.
- Assists in providing support and guidance to team members to promote maximum efficiency.
Mergers and Acquisition Transfers:
- Design strategies to streamline team performance prior to and following integration.
- Provide direct support to Operations management working with the M&A team to further enhance data implementation.
- Collaborate with Operations management and IT department to ensure accuracy and quality of data imported into Applied Epic from external systems.
- Prepare reports on the status and implementation timeline of M&A process to Associate Director of Operations.
- Develop and implement data analysis and act as liaison with our Resource Pro team to complete data transfer.
Training and Workflow Procedures:
- Collaborate with the Associate Director to identify improvements in existing workflows and recommend enhancements.
- Develop and implement a training curriculum based on updated workflows within the Total CSR LMS.
- Provide position-specific training to build knowledge and confidence of new hires.
- Evaluate training effectivity through regular client audits and implement additional training as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years+ experience in the commercial insurance industry.
- Prior experience in developing operational processes, standards, and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate concisely on project updates.
- Self-starter; strong communication and people skills.
- A degree in business administration, insurance, or relevant field.
- Proficient with Applied EPIC and Microsoft products.
