As part of the Talent Solutions Center of Expertise (COE), located in Falls Church, VA, the Learning Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting the logistics and operational needs of our learning and organizational development services as well as leveraging data to support the enterprise-wide learning strategy.
As a member of the Talent Solutions Center of Expertise, the Learning Operations Specialist will partner with Talent Solutions and other stakeholders to support program planning and execution of in-person and virtual vendor-led learning events.
The Specialist will coordinate the scheduling, proactive planning, managing registrations of both in-person and virtual vendor leadership development programs. In coordination with the learning and development business leads, this role will organize the logistics for vendor-led programs across BAE Systems to include participant communications, participant calendar invitations, Learning Management System (LMS) course creation, ordering materials, securing catering and re-billing services.
This role also includes the analysis of Talent Solutions data to conduct analyses of training completions, evaluations, return on investment, and other program metrics. Strong intuitive and analytical ability is required, as well as the ability to concisely and clearly present data and trends. This role will support Talent Solutions program planning and execution and provide actionable insights based on analysis of data.
The Specialist plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence so the products and services provided to our customers are consistently supported and efficiently delivered.
In this role, you will:
+ Coordinate with business leads and other stakeholders to plan, schedule, and manage the logistics of both virtual and in-person learning programs
+ Manage relationship and operations with various vendors to ensure contracts are up-to-date, services are procured, and invoices are processed accurately
+ Conduct analyses of learning data, evaluations, return on investment, and other key development metrics. Compile learning metrics, review reports and assess trends.
+ Use your strong analytical capabilities to concisely and clearly present data and trends.
+ Maintain and analyze a series of metrics that support the enterprise-wide learning strategy;
+ Serve as key partner and liaison to develop strategic actions related to developing talent and support learning programs by monitoring trends and analyzing data
+ Collaborate with the Talent Solutions team on the continued evolution of learning dashboards and metrics
+ Provide data, analysis, insights and data visualization support for various stakeholder and business reporting requirements
+ Manage multiple and concurrent projects ranging in size and complexity, including the creation of project plans and communications
+ Manage the Talent Solutions knowledge based articles by coordinating with article owners on updates and reviewing article usage to make stakeholder recommendations
+ Work in coordination with others to reconcile inter-company billing, process expense reports, create purchase orders and verify invoices.
+ Develop collaborative relationships within the department, key stakeholders, suppliers and customers.
+ Manage processes, systems, and communications that are consistent with the high standards for the Talent Solutions customer.
+ Drive continuous improvement of Talent Solutions operations team and processes
Work location for this position is flexible. Remote/hybrid work or on site at a BAE Systems office will all be considered.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of related experience (equivalent experience may be substituted for the degree)
+ Ability to leverage strong project management, business acumen, customer service and communication skills
+ Ability to partner effectively with internal and external partners as well as key stakeholders
+ Comfort level juggling multiple priorities with superior attention to detail
+ Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or on a team
+ Curious mindset to analyze data and discover and present insights
+ Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, advanced Excel
+ Ability to deliver attentive, responsive, and diplomatic customer service
+ Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to effectively use data to tell a story and create a narrative for change
+ Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $78760 - $133870
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
