JOB STATUS: Exempt
JOB GRADE: 9 $43,209.94 to $54,012.42 Targeted Annual Salary
*This position works on-site. Remote work is not available at this time.
JOB SUMMARY:
This employee is responsible for the efficient operation of the teller line and member service area in a specific branch as well as providing member service function if necessary. This employee performs all teller functions as well as solving problems and helping with complex work-related matters (Must be in current position 24 months).
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supervise the activities of the teller operations area by assigning work, answering questions, solving problems, helping with complex transactions and sensitive member relations problems, explaining policies and procedures to members, etc.
- Evaluate the job performance of subordinates to ensure quality.
- Maintain knowledge of all State and Federal Regulations that are applicable to the transactions performed in the cashier/teller area.
- Oversees work schedules, to include lunch hours and time off, for full-time and part-time employees in the teller area to ensure proper coverage of the teller line.
- Understand compliance issues & attends training as they relate to Operations Supervisor, including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act; Reg P; Patriot Act.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Everyone in the position performs the tasks.
- The job exists so the tasks may be performed (i.e., a teller is employed to accurately process member transactions).
- The job could not be done if the tasks were not completed.
- Non-performance of the tasks, even if the tasks are performed infrequently, would be serious (i.e. inability to perform required tasks).
Education/Experience:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited high school or have the equivalent of a high school diploma (G.E.D. certificate).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Must have knowledge of office machines and equipment and be able to type.
- Patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude toward the members and general public.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year in operations experience.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
