We are seeking candidates that have previous experience in leadership, aerospace and has lead a team.

Job Description:

• Supports the values of the company with emphasis on 'Safety First'.
• Leads, directs, and supervises workers in assigned areas.
• Confers with other managers, supervisors and leads to coordinate efforts.
• Responsible for timely communication and documentation of potential personnel issues.
• Maintains time and attendance records within computer database.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
• Recommends measures to improve productions methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Confers with quality assurance and engineering on specific production issues.
• Attends meetings as scheduled.
• Issues written and oral instructions.
• Maintains harmony among workers and resolves concerns

Qualifications:

• Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or high school diploma (or equivalent) with six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
• Five years manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of aerospace company specifications and practices highly preferred.
• Supervisory experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in quality systems preferred.
• Math Skills - decimals, percentages, fractions, ratios, proportions; geometry and trigonometry is a plus.
• Knowledge of policy and procedures in the event of a Hazardous waste release, fire, or explosion.
• Knowledge of the chemical characteristics and location of hazardous waste in the facility.
• Ability to shut down operations.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Must be able to handle demands associated with a supervisory position.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required

Direct Hire $47k-$41k
