As an Operations Supervisor, you will leverage your leadership skills to coordinate and direct the overall delivery of quality service to maximize branch productivity
By working closely with the Branch Manager, you will provide the supervision needed to ensure safety, branch metric performance and Rental Flow efficiency, while contributing world-class sales and customer service support.What you'll do:Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectivesAssist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policiesDrive branch metrics by monitoring scorecard items, determining root causes and opportunities for improvement and providing coaching and feedback to staff, making recommendations for corrective actionsSupport all aspects of sales and customer service to ensure world class service and operational excellence, including processing rental quotations, reservations and contracts in compliance with company policies and proceduresMaximize operational effectiveness and efficiency by ensuring that staff is trained and compliant with the Rental Flow Process; drive profitability by monitoring and controlling costsMay be responsible for day-to-day operational activities including opening and closing, cash drawer reconciliation and bank deposit, and othersMotivate, coach and train personnelPromote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, exemplary personal compliance, accountability and communicationOther duties assigned as neededRequirements:High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred3+ years of sales and operational experience2+ years supervision and leadership experienceBasic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry or relatedStrong motivational and leadership skillsSuperior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)Valid driver's license with an acceptable recordThis position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.Why join us?We don't just ""talk the talk!""
