The Caleb Brett team provides cargo inspection and analytical assessment to the world's petroleum, mining, minerals and biofuels industries. The Operations Supervisor will responsible for overseeing inspectors field activities and determine they are in compliance with company and industry policies and procedures. In addition, the position will manage designated accounts for the branch office, area, or region the operational and testing functions for the branch.
Responsibilities
• Ensure Inspectors have up to date credentials.
• Ensure Inspector field equipment is calibrated.
• Oversee training of Inspectors.
• Manage job nominations and/or assignments from specific customers for the branch, area or region.
• Single point of customer contact for business related to the branch.
• On receipt of a request for services, record the details of the nomination and enter the order into the operating system.
• Review client instructions and dispatch job to the Inspector. Follow up and report results to the client.
Qualifications
• Two years' experience in an inspection company.
• Knowledgeable in petroleum and chemical inspection procedures.
• Understand the business requirements of the clients.
• Knowledgeable of the testing of those commodities that are at the core of the business and the significance of quality test data.
• Inspection, Marine Transportation and Loss Control experience preferred.
