About the Job
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the logistical operations of Siouxland District Health Department’s facilities and property. This position includes staff training, supervision and performance of SDHD Custodians. Maintaining an inventory of supplies needed, assist with security and safety needs including security cameras. Management of SDHD fleet vehicles including purchasing, operator safety and maintenance. Supervise building projects and outside contractors, including bids for repair, replacement and maintenance. Complete preventative maintenance in coordination with Woodbury County Building services, along with performing light maintenance that could include plumbing, HVAC and boiler preventative work.
APPLICANTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of three years experience in logistics and facility management along with general custodial duties. Computer skills required. Must have valid Driver License, ability to obtain car insurance at agency-specified liability level and reliable transportation. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
