- Manage scheduling for T-STAR 24/7
- Develop a program for training System Operators on T-STAR
- Develop operating processes/desk guides for day-to-day monitoring and the alert notification tree
- Develop checklists for T-STAR monitoring
- Coordinate with software developers on modifications to help desk and ticket system support systems for T-STAR
- Provide input into the TRANSCOM Records Inventory Disposition Schedule (RIDS)
- Coordinate with the T-STAR system owner or designee on system maintenance schedule, and outage needs
- Coordinate testing activities with the DOE customer as requested
- Review and approve employee schedules, payroll, leave requests, travel, and training needs.
- Assist with preparing management reports to the Project Manager and DOE Client (as required)
- Prepare report deliverables per the contract work scope and submit to the TRANSCOM Project Manager
- Serve as a back-up system operator as needed.
Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years of experience performing logistical support work, administration, developing procedures and processes, and technical writing skills.
- Pass a pre-employment drug test and continued random drug tests
- Pass a pre-employment background check
- Pass a post-employment Federal criminal background and credit investigation; position requires a federal personal identification verification HSPD12 Badge
- Microsoft office suite (emphasis on word and excel skills)
- Understanding of basic project management practices
- Perform supervisory duties in an operational setting and/or on an IT project environment.
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Basic office work environment at government facility location
- Position requires shift flexibility to support a 24x7 operation 365 days a year
- Occasionally, project requirements may require temporary adjustment of work hours/days
- Duties are subject to change based on the needs of the customer
